Viktor SLAVINSKYI PROVISIONAL SUSPENSION
In accordance with the AIBA Anti-Doping Rules, the International Boxing Association has provisionally suspended Ukrainian boxer, Viktor SLAVINSKYI, Light, with immediate effect after he tested positive for a substance included on the WADA Prohibited List
The boxer tested positive for type S6. Stimulants/methylhexaneamine (dimethylpentylamine) substances at the in-competition test conducted at the WSB match Ukraine Otamans Vs. China Dragons in Vinnytsya on January 30, 2016. In accordance with the AIBA Anti-Doping Rules and the World Anti–Doping Code, the Boxer and the Ukrainian Boxing Federation have been notified about the findings.
The International Boxing Association (AIBA) welcomes and fully supports the anti-doping testing procedure put in place for competitions. AIBA is working with WADA to ensure that boxing is doping free and will take the appropriate action regarding this case.
AIBA will not make any further comment on this case until it is closed” at the end of the notification of provisional suspensions.
