Former U.S. Army veteran Steven Nelson has only been boxing since early 2010 after he took up the sport to lose weight. Having only having competed in 10 bouts at the time, Nelson entered the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials, and made it all the way to the final of that event. Since then, the naturally talented American has dominated the US Light Heavyweight scene, and now has aspirations of winning a medal in the AIBA World Championships.
