Sharing a name with the most famous boxer in history is not an easy task, but the 19-year-old Ali is carving out an excellent reputation of his own. Tipped for the top by two-time professional world champion Amir Khan, Ali started boxing because of Khan’s exploits at the Athens 2004 Olympic Games, and the current British National Champion won bronze at the recent EUBC European Confederation Boxing Championships. Ali also has experience of high level AIBA events, having won silver last year at the AIBA Youth World Championships.
