MICHAEL SEKABEMBE – 91+ KG

A serving army sergeant who trains at the People’s Defence Forces Boxing Club, the 35-year-old Sekabembe has been boxing for over half his life. Last year, the Super Heavyweight won bronze at the Commonwealth Games, and claimed another podium place in the AFBC African Confederation Boxing Championships. A former discus and javelin thrower, Sekabembe spends his time away from the ring tending cassava and tomato gardens.
