Despite being just 20-years-old, Cabrera has competed in 185 bouts during the course of his career thus far. The Luis Pascual Mendez coached fighter trains at the Deportivo Miranda Boxing Club in Caracas, where his average training time is 24 hours a week. Cabrera won bronze at the AMBC American Confederation Boxing Championships this summer, and also won the 2015 Pan American Games Qualifier.
