Boxers stand proud at Closing Ceremony | 24.08.2008 | After nine boxers were given the honour of being the flag bearer for their respective countries during the 2008 Olympic Games opening ceremony, the number almost doubled at the closing ceremony in Beijing, China on Sunday.
A total of 17 boxers carried their country's flag into the "Bird's Nest" Stadium as the 2008 Olympic Games came to a close, including three (marked with *) who carried their country's flag at the opening ceremony.
The boxers who were the flag bearers for their country at the Closing Ceremony were:
