This proved to be an excellent prelude to the ensuing encounter where Athens Olympic Games bantamweight bronze medallist Sultonov timed his run perfectly, outscoring AIBA World Championship Chicago 2007 quarterfinalist Arturo Santos Reyes (MEX) 4:2 in the final round to claim a compelling 13:12 in the 57kg final.
