AIBA Executive Vice-President presented with ANOC award | 09.04.2008 | The President of the Association of National Olympic Committees Mario Vasquez Rana personally awarded AIBA Executive Vice President Gafur Rakhimov, who is also the NOC Vice-President of Uzbekistan, with an honorary order of ANOC and expressed his gratitude for Mr. Rakhimov's contribution to sports activity.
He also pointed out that the award is the recognition of the contribution made for the sake of the promotion of Olympic movement and expressed his hope that Mr. Rakhimov will further progress and carry high this symbolic sports flag.
