It is with great sadness that news has reached AIBA of the passing of the Secretary General of the Boxing Federation of Tanzania Mr. Gaston Mlay.
Mr. Mlay passed away on March 15, 2008 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania due to health reasons and our thoughts go to his family and the President of the Boxing Federation of Tanzania Mr. Alhaj Shabani Mintanga Kondo and its members.
It is in times of great sorrow that one draws upon his or her own strength and the strength of loved ones. I know I speak for the entire AIBA family when conveying my heartfelt sympathy to the family of Mr. Mlay and giving the full support of the AIBA family to the family of Mr. Mlay and the Boxing Federation of Tanzania.
