Following Saturday 1st of October 2011's FFB Extraordinary General Assembly, Dr Humbert Furgoni has been reelected as President of the French Boxing Federation. He has remained as Chairman of the Board after 61% voted in favor (from 212 votes).
In his congratulatory letter to Dr Furgoni, AIBA President Dr Ching-Kuo Wu said, "Without your continuous support as the leader of the French Boxing Federation, I am sure that your boxers' enthusiasm would crumble. Your passion for the sport of boxing is without any doubt enhancing their performance and increasing their wish to represent their country in the most important sporting events."
