Established in Lausanne at "La Maison du Sport International", with a young and dynamic team, AIBA is now looking for a
Competition Manager
Reporting to the Sports Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and managing AIBA's competition program in cooperation with all stakeholders. Specifically, the Competition Manager will be responsible for the following:
- Technical & Competition Rules
- Implementation and administration of the AIBA Coaches Management System
- Implementation and administration of the AIBA Referees and Judges Management System
- Coordination with event Organizing Committees
- Registration and accreditation processes
- The AIBA Database, competition result processing, scoring system.
- The AIBA World Ranking
- Seeding at AIBA Controlled Events
- Assisting the Sports Director in competition-related areas such as FOP management, competition schedule development etc.
Profile
Qualifications/Experience
- Educated to University degree level preferably in the fields of sport management, health, social sciences
- A sound knowledge and understanding of the international sports community
- Minimum of 2 years experience of working in event, sport industry
- Experience in policy development, project management, implementation and monitoring
Skills
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to set and manage priorities and cope with a demanding workload
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Problem solving skills
- Attention to detail
- IT literate (MS office, data management)
