Papua New Guinea Boxing Union Fully Suspended | 27.07.2010 | The AIBA EC Bureau announced its latest decision on July 26, 2010 to suspend the Papua New Guinea Boxing Union (PNGBU) after proof that Mr Lohial Nuau continued to be involved in their work even after the Disciplinary Commission's decision to suspend him for 24 months from all boxing activities at AIBA, continental and national levels.
Because of this violation, and because the PNGBU let Mr Nuau continue without reacting, the EC Bureau will not allow the participation of any EC Members, any team officials, any boxers and coaches, etc., to any AIBA approved or sanctioned events nor to any AIBA official events at AIBA and continental levels by the PNGBU.
This suspension is effective immediately and this case will be put for review by the AIBA
Disciplinary Commission.
