The International Boxing Association (AIBA) has decided to agree to CAS's suggestion to end the 2nd suspension of Mr Jae Joon Yoo, of the Korean Amateur Boxing Federation, in relation to his conduct in failing to observe the terms of his first and original suspension.
Mr Yoo was originally suspended for six months in accordance with a decision of the AIBA Disciplinary Commission dated July 31, 2010. However, Mr Yoo did not properly observe the terms of his suspension, and therefore the AIBA Disciplinary Commission took further action against Mr Yoo and decided on November 18, 2009 to impose a further suspension. Mr Yoo appealed this further decision to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).
