Marrakech, Morocco, July 8, 2010 - An AIBA Extraordinary Executive Committee Meeting will be held from July 9-12 in order to vote on the bid presentations for the 2012 Olympic Qualifying Events and the 2012 Women's World Championships.

Furthermore, numerous progress reports on upcoming events will be submitted, including the forthcoming Youth Olympic Games, the 2010 Women's World Championships in Barbados, the AIBA Boxing Academy and the World Series of Boxing (WSB).

Technical items up for discussion include the approval of the World Series of Boxing technical and competition rules and amendments to the AIBA technical and competition rules, as well as the proposed new AIBA scoring system, which has already undergone two practical tests this year.
