Announcement of New AIBA Disciplinary Commission | 18.02.2010 | AIBA is pleased to unveil five new members of the Disciplinary Commission, with the approval of the AIBA Executive Committee. Since all previous Disciplinary Commission members resigned, Mr Pierre Cornu, the former Chairman of AIBA Appeal Commission managed all on-going cases in his commission and accepted the position of the Chairman of the AIBA Disciplinary Commission.
The new Disciplinary Commission is now composed of the following people:
• Mr Pierre Cornu from Switzerland, Chairman
• Mr Alain Ribaux from Switzerland, Member (Swiss Lawyer)
• Mr Dennis O'Connell from United States of America, Member (Former Appeal Commission member)
• Mr Antonio Pérez de Guzmán from Spain, Member (Former Appeal Commission member)
• Mr Thomas Virgets from United States of America, Member (Former Chairman of Marketing Commission)
The new Commission started its work on Monday, February 15, and will manage all pending cases.
