The Strongest Tournament finals in Chekhob near Moscow welcomes Olympic bronze medallist Georgy Balakshin 51kg, along with the best Russian boxers who will take part in the event in preparation for the World Championships in Milan, September 1-12 with bouts of three rounds of three minutes.
Balakshin goes up against Misha Aloyan in the finals with high expecations while fellow Olympians David Airapetyan (48kg), World Championships 54kg gold medallist Sergei Vodopyanov (57kg), World championships 57kg gold medallist Albert Selimov (60kg) and Artur Beterbiev (81kg) compete for the opportunity to further build their control of the ring before facing the best international boxers in Milan this fall and compete for World Champion title.
