In anticipation of the International Olympic Committee's (IOC) decision to include women's boxing in the Olympic Games on August 13 in Berlin, and the growing interest in women's boxing, AIBA has generated a new and informative webpage dedicated to providing news and updates regarding the inclusion of women's boxing in the Olympic Games.

AIBA will dedicate this new webpage towards the events within women's boxing and keep all boxing fans informed concerning the activities of their boxing stars, such as AIBA's Women Boxing Ambassador Anna Laurell (SWE), AIBA 2008 Boxer of the Year and two time AIBA World Champion Katie Taylor (IRL), and AIBA's Women Boxing Ambassador and four times AIBA World Champion Mary Kom (IND).
