AIBA Signs New Official Partner and Title Sponsor for 2011 World Championships

AIBA has signed a significant partnership deal with Sat & Co Managing Company of Kazakhstan to become an Official Partner of AIBA and Title Sponsor of the 2011 World Championships, which will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The deal will see Sat & Co gain international exposure at the 2011 World Championships and selected other AIBA events through to the end of 2011. The financial contribution from Sat & Co will help to guarantee the future of the successful training camps that AIBA has organized for underprivileged boxing nations prior to all world championship events since the 2009 Men's World Championships.

Thirty-four nations with 328 men and women boxers will be taking part in the Prime Ministry Tournament held in Ankara from the 7th till the 11th of April. The organizers transferred the venue from Istanbul to the capital city of Ankara and rescheduled the event as Prime Ministry Tournament from Ahmet Comert. The tournament is similar to a small World Championships because each of the AIBA Confederations will be competing in it. The technical delegate of the tournament is Dr Sandor Csotonyi, the re-elected Hungarian President.
