  • The previous AIBA tournament for 15 and 16-year-olds was held in 2007. Formally called the AIBA Cadet World Championships, the AIBA President Dr. Ching-Kuo Wu labelled the event held in Baku, Azerbaijan as the "best Cadet World Championships ever staged."
