DAVID BIDDLE – 64 kg

  • Date Of Birth: 16/09/1988
  • Coach: Charlie Coumie
  • Club: Para Hills ABC
  • Residence: Adelaide, South Australia

Adelaide’s David Biddle reached the second round of the 2013 AIBA World Championships, and has already won two gold medals this year ahead of his arrival in Doha. The 26-year-old was one of Australia’s most highly regarded boxers in his teenage years, but left the sport after the demands of training while raising his child and working full-time proved too much. His return to the ring has seen the use of a new aggressive style, which is currently paying dividends.
