Doha 2015 Local Organising Committee would like to remind all media representatives that the the media accreditation for the AIBA World Boxing Championship, which will be held from 5 until 15 October 2015 in Doha, Qatar, will close on 18 September.
Media representatives wishing to cover AIBA World Boxing Championships Doha 2015 are required to complete the accreditation application on the competition website before 18 September 2015.

The registration process for media accreditation is for rights-holding broadcasters, non-rights-holding broadcasters, as well as written and photographic press. If media representatives would like to bring video and/or photo equipment to Doha, they are also required to provide the list of the equipment to firstname.lastname@example.org together with their accreditation request. The list should include the equipment type (photo/video camera) and the serial number.
Upon approval of the accreditation request, media representatives will receive a confirmation via e-mail, which will also include the relevant information on visas, venue, transport and media accommodation during AIBA World Boxing Championships Doha 2015.
Media accreditation will be distributed at the Accreditation Centre, which will be located at the Hamad International Airport upon arrival as well as at Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena. Accreditations will be distributed only upon presentation of a valid passport or ID and press card/proof of media affiliation.
World Boxing Championships are a boxing event for the world’s top 260 boxers, who will compete for the ultimate boxing glory – the title of “World Champion”. The event will also have 23 quota places to Rio 2016 Olympic Games up for grabs in ten weight categories.
