Ghossoun enjoyed a tremendous 2013 AIBA World Championships when he reached the third round after defeating Hrvoje Sep and Osmar Bravo, and has consistently medalled in Asian events since. Part of a boxing family, Ghossoun’s brothers Sumar, Ahmad, Ali and Mohammad are also members of the Syrian National team.
